The Pieta House Darkness Into Light walk took place at 4.15 am on Saturday 6th May 2017 across nationwide locations. A number of HOMS staff volunteered to help organise the event nationwide.
Rachael O’ Shaughnessy, Solicitor and Sean Fitzgerald, Solicitor were on the Pieta House Organising Committee for one of the Limerick walks. Sean Fitzgerald was MC at Thomond Park on the night.
John Ringrose, Partner and Sarah Falvey, Solicitor, both in our Litigation Department volunteered and participated at the Pieta House walk at UCC, Cork, where over 7,000 people took to the Streets of Cork to take part in the Darkness Into Light.
Kellie Daniels, Trainee Solicitor, participated in Waterford City. Aoife Coughlan, Legal Assistant, participated in Phoenix Park, Dublin.
A number of HOMS staff participated in the walk at various locations throughout the country, including Limerick, Dublin, Waterford, Cork and Tipperary.
HOMS are pleased to continue to support Pieta House, having also supported the Pieta 100 Cycle last September.
The camaraderie, atmosphere and shared community spirit was amazing. Well done everyone who took part, volunteered and supported the cause.
