As part of a moot court workshop organised by the University of Limerick School of Law on 8th November 2016, Orla Donovan, trainee solicitor, presented to law students on advocacy and mooting techniques. The presentation included practical advice on presentation skills, courtroom etiquette and the preparation of written and oral legal submissions. Orla is currently training in our Defence Litigation Unit.
Donal Creaton, Partner, commented:
“Orla and her mooting partner won the Law Society of Ireland’s Trainee Moot Court Competition earlier in the year. Orla made it through several rounds and succeeded at the final after advocating in respect of a case concerning human rights, constitutional rights and equal rights. We are delighted that she is sharing her skills and experience with other law students.”
