New solicitors in place at city legal company
Holmes O’Malley Sexton this week announced they had taken on a number of new solicitors to join the firm “in specialist areas of expertise”.
Harry Fehily, Managing Partner of Holmes O’Malley Sexton (HOMS), said they now have 10 more staff on their books compared to four years ago.
“I definitely see a recovery, especially in the property sector, which has been helped by the banks becoming more active,” he said.
HOMS has opened a fully serviced Dublin office, and between the Limerick and Dublin offices now employs over 90 people. This is a significant business not only within the City of Limerick but in the wider Mid West Region. Due to its ongoing commitment, the practice has consistently been ranked by Legal 500 as one of the best legal practices in Ireland, and in 2012 was voted Provincial Law Firm of the Year.
Commenting on the recent additions to the practice, Jim Sexton, one of the Founding Partners, now practising as a notary public in the Firm, stated “I am proud to see the continuing growth of HOMS despite difficult economic times, and to commend the Partners and staff for their ongoing commitment to the values and standards of attention to clients’ business affairs. To have come through the last several years and remain in a growth mode is no mean achievement and gives great hope for the future.”
