HOMS were delighted to sponsor and judge the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) €100,000 2014 Enterprise Ladder Business Awards which were held on Thursday 12th June 2014.
Two early stage Limerick companies received the top awards at the LIT Enterprise Ladder Business Awards 2014. The two winners were web-based educational tool provider Bubbleskool and clean-tech product company DionErgy. Bubbleskool was awarded the Micro-Enterprise Business award and DionErgy the High Potential Start-Up award.
There were eight shortlisted companies out of thirty-five entries. Each of the eight companies entered a pitch session which was judged by a panel of judges (from LIT, Enterprise Ireland, and AIB) which included HOMS solicitor, George Kennedy, Corporate and Commercial Department.
The winners received €25,000 seed funding from LIT’s Enterprise Ladder Fund (ELF), a €3,000 cash prize and consultancy services from the sponsors HOMS, Bridgewater Management, AIB, Limerick Chamber, IDF Marketing, The Discovery Partnership Ltd, Aspire Consultancy, the Chamber of Commerce Skillnet and LIT and the LIT Enterprise Ladder Fund.
