HOMS Solicitors were pleased to be one of the main sponsors of the CorkBIC “Entrepreneur Experience” which was held in Ballymaloe House, County Cork, on 7th and 8th April 2017. The two other main sponsors were Bank of Ireland and Grant Thornton. George Kennedy, Partner, attended on behalf of HOMS.
The event brought together 50 emerging entrepreneurs together with 25 seasoned entrepreneurs, providing participants with a unique opportunity to gain access to advice and mentoring from some of Ireland’s most successful business leaders. The 24 hour experience includes networking, workshops and presentations.
HOMS took part in some panel discussions, one of which was a fireside chat hosted by Pete Smyth of Broadlake. The other panellists were Michael Neary from Grant Thornton and Adrian Mullett of Bank of Ireland. The panel discussion centred around the evolution of the panellists businesses rather than law, accounting and banking, which gave HOMS Solicitors’ an opportunity to discuss our strategic renewal through our HOMS 2020 Plan: Getting Ahead of the Curve.
We hope that all of the participants enjoyed the event and our thanks to CorkBIC for giving us the opportunity to be involved.
