HOMS News Issue 2013

It is a great pleasure for me to introduce another issue of HOMS News. There is a lot happening and this issue will give you a flavour of that.

While the business environment is still extremely difficult it appears that the economy is improving. We see significant activity within the banking sector who are coming to terms with their difficulties. While this will cause pain for many it is essential to get the economy moving again. The pace of activity has picked up considerably in Dublin and there are hopes that the rest of the country will follow.

Our commitment to client service has again been recognised as excellent through our Legal Quality Standard certification and our rankings in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, of which you will read more inside.

In this edition we feature articles on the Irish solicitor’s run-off funds, fraudulent personal injury claims, health and safety, undue influence and child and vulnerable adult legislation. We hope you find some of those articles of interest.

I hope you enjoy reading our newsletter and as always I am available to meet and discuss any issues with you.

Kind regards,
Harry Fehily, Managing Partner
Holmes O’Malley Sexton Solicitors
