Joseph O'Meara, Partner, presented at an international conference on insolvency law at the School of Law, University of Limerick on 5th November 2011. ‘The Insolvency Law and Practice in the 21st Century: Irish and International Experience' conference ran from 9 am to 1 pm. Joseph's presentation was called ‘Floating Charges – Some issues on Security Identification, Enforcement and Recovery'.
A number of other experts in insolvency law and practice also presented. Speakers came from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and the United States to take part in the conference. The insolvency law and practice issues included consisted of enforcement of security, tax issues, employment implications and comparative discussion.
