Wills and Probate

Our specialist solicitors are highly experienced in providing comprehensive advice on all aspects related to making a will. When advising our clients, we always emphasise the importance of planning ahead to ensure maximum control over future events. Making a will is not straightforward. We consider many aspects, such as the family circumstances, the type and value of assets, minors and guardians and executors, wills and trusts. We draft wills to reflect personal circumstances after providing our clients with specialist advice.

Probate and administration of estates

The death of any person is a traumatic experience and we do our utmost to help those people left behind through that difficult period by providing clear advice in an effective and sympathetic manner. When someone dies we are here to help from the very beginning, in terms of ascertaining the deceased’s wishes, gathering in the assets and distributing according to the law and the deceased’s wishes. Unfortunately many people die without having made a will and in those circumstances we advise clearly regarding the law and thereafter distribute the estate.

Probate actions

Unfortunately disputes may arise in probate situations particularly if the children feel that they have not been provided for. We have a great amount of experience acting for children and executors in relation to this and any other type of probate dispute.
