The firm’s intellectual property and technology unit advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters in the areas of trade marks, designs, patents, copyright, confidential information, internet applications and data protection.

We recognise the significance of branding for our clients and also the need for expert legal advice on information technology law as it applies to the diverse businesses of our clients. 

We are well placed to advise practically and comprehensively on the legal issues surrounding intellectual property rights including:

  • Registered rights such as trade marks, patents and design rights
  • Unregistered rights such as the common law action in “Passing Off”
