Joseph A. O'Meara - Partner

Joe O'Meara is a partner in the property department of Holmes O'Malley Sexton. Joe has been with the firm since 1982.

Joe has extensive experience in advising clients on all aspects of commercial real estate, including related matters of taxation, construction law and environmental law. He specialises in negotiating and drafting agreements in connection with the acquisition, development and disposal of commercial, industrial and retail property. He has advised a number of third-level institutions and developers on the security aspects of project finance and tax-based lending. He furthermore provides advice on the property aspects of asset/share sales, acquisitions, insolvency and recovery matters in conjunction with the firm's other practice groups.

Joseph's client base operates mainly locally, although a few carry out business both nationally and internationally

Education:
Dublin University, Trinity College, Law Degree.
Admitted to the Law Society of Ireland.
