Siobhán Buckley – Partner
Siobhán is a partner in our business department and joined the firm in 2004. She specialises in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial, technology, EU and competition law and energy.
Siobhán acts for SME’S, large private companies, subsidiaries of multinationals, public limited companies, public authorities and commercial semi- state bodies.
As team leader, Siobhán has recently completed the sale of a large regionally based multi-jurisdictional business, the sale of medical distribution businesses, the sale of a number of private companies and a number of corporate reconstructions. As team leader, she has also recently advised a number of companies in connection with fundraisings.
She advises frequently in respect of competition law issues arising in distribution, agency, outsourcing and other contractual arrangements as well as the competition aspects arising in acquisitions and joint ventures. As a member of our IP and Technology unit she advises frequently on software licensing issues, e- commerce and data protection issues.
Siobhán is regularly involved in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts including framework supply and purchase agreements and contracts for the provision of services in various sectors.

Member of the Development Committee of St Gabriel's school and centre.
Siobhán regularly presents to local businesses in relation to issues concerning acquisitions and sales of businesses and other topics in corporate and commercial law.
